The destination
The seaside town of Blackpool in Lancashire is famous for its Pleasure Beach (including piers), Blackpool Tower and its fantastic annual lightshow. Since 1879, the Blackpool Illuminations (or “The Lights” as they are locally known), have drawn crowds of admirers. Using over one million bulbs, they run for sixty days each year. Why not take a two or three day fun trip with us to check out the show and this wonderful town?
Day 1 : London - Blackpool
Having boarded the coach, enjoy the trip up to Blackpool. We arrive by late afternoon then head to our hotel and check in for a one night stay. You then spend the afternoon at your leisure. By late evening, join the rest of the group on the coach and take on a tour of the famous illuminations of Blackpool.
Day 2 : Blackpool – London
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the morning as you please. Blackpool has three piers on the beach and lots of seaside shops, bars and eateries. We meet our group around 13:00 to depart for our journey back to London. We arrive back in London in the evening.
Modern, comfortable air-conditioned coach with entertainment facilities and loo (emergency only).

Three Day Itinerary
Day 1 of 3: London - Blackpool – Hotel
Having boarded the coach, enjoy the trip up to Blackpool. We arrive by late afternoon then head to our hotel and check in for a one night stay. You then spend the afternoon at your leisure. By late evening, join the rest of the group on the coach and take on a tour of the famous illuminations of Blackpool.
Day 2 of 3: Hotel - Blackpool – Hotel
Enjoy your breakfast early in the morning at the hotel, then join the rest of the group on the coach for your ride to the Pleasure Beach, which has over 135 rides and also hosts one of the world's biggest roller coasters – are you brave enough? There are also three piers; the big wheel on the centre pier is world famous too. We recommend tucking into traditional fish and chips at lunch time; no tour to Blackpool is complete without this! In the evening you will join your group to board the coach to see the night time famous and fabulous illuminations (on between August and November). At the end of the illuminations you will be given the choice to either head back to the hotel or to explore the night-life on your own.
Day 3 of 3: Blackpool Hotel – London
After breakfast, we have a relaxing drive back to London taking frequent stops. We arrive back at the pick-up point by evening time.
