The destination
Amsterdam, the capital city of Holland, is also the financial and cultural capital of the Netherlands. Drawing 4.2 million tourists annually, Amsterdam's attractions include: its historic canals, the Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House, the Rijks Museum, its red-light district and its many cannabis coffee shops. There’s certainly a lot to see and do and this three day tour gives you a great opportunity to get to know the city.Day 1 : London - France - Amsterdam
Your Tour Manager will take your luggage and stow it safely for you, before we drive down to Dover for the short crossing to Calais by ferry. First stop is Pidou Superstore for bargain beer and wine shopping. Our leisurely drive takes us through France; arriving in the beautiful city of Amsterdam by late afternoon where we check-in to the hotel.Day 2 : Amsterdam
Having enjoyed your hotel breakfast, you have a day at leisure to enjoy the fascinating city of Amsterdam. Join us on a comprehensive sight-seeing city tour to see many places of interest such as the floating flower market, the flea market, the Rijks Museum and the Royal Palace. You can also explore Amsterdam on a canal boat cruise through old Amsterdam; seeing sights only accessible from the waterway. The evening is at leisure and you are free to sample the local cuisine and experience the very vibrant Amsterdam night-life.Day 3 : Amsterdam - Belgium - London
Enjoy breakfast and then board the coach for a relaxing drive to France via Belgium. In Belgium we stop at King Albert Saint Flora Castle in Adinkerke where you can do some shopping. On the way back to Calais port, we visit Cite Europe Shopping Mall for more excellent-value shopping. By early evening we make our way to Calais Ferry Port to board the ferry to go back home to the UK. By late evening we arrive back at the pick-up point where the trip ends.Modern, comfortable air-conditioned coach with entertainment facilities and loo (emergency only).
